Hilary Daltry is Head of Printmaking at Heatherley’s School of Fine Art in Chelsea
She studied painting at Cumbria University of the Arts and the Slade School of Fine Art and printmaking at Chelsea School of Art. Awarded the Prix de Rome scholarship and scholarships to Greece and Spain; her Mediterranean influenced subjects include allegorical figures and still lives of fruit and flowers. Her woodcuts are drawn from life and hand printed on Japanese paper, one wood block for each colour, creating rich overlays of colour. Hilary is an elected Member of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers and exhibits at the Bankside Gallery.
